My name is Christy Chappell, and I’m the owner and operator of Ready To Rock Engraving. I’m a stay-at-home mom, and we’re a homeschooling family, so things can get pretty busy around here. If you call, you’ll most likely hear from me and my daughter :) Please note that I do not offer shop visits!

With 21 years of experience in stone engraving, I’m confident in my skills and take great pride in my craft. There’s nothing more rewarding than creating a unique, customized piece that will be cherished for years to come.

  My passion for rocks and art is among the things that have encouraged this business.  I worked for a company 7 years engraving stones, and getting to hear and help express the stories of lost loved ones, welcoming of new loved ones, milestones passed and expressions from the heart. I grew a deep love for the art of stone engraving, and the stories behind each stone. I had to leave the company with a very heavy heart after 7 years of growth. I was back in the search of a job with no luck of one so rewarding. 

In 2010, I lost my little brother. He was just 22 and had an 8-month-old baby boy. I had never experienced losing someone so close to me before, and it was truly life-changing, as many can understand.

I knew nothing would make either of us happier than me designing and engraving his memorial stone, especially since he had always encouraged me to start my own business. After weeks of studying and planning, I took the leap and began my stone engraving business. With tremendous support from my husband and family, Ready To Rock Engraving was born. My brother, Rick Linson’s stone, was the very first to be engraved.
